Kirk's Father George's family tree can be traced all the way back to Thor, the Norse God of Thunder.

All in all, this ship looks nice, but I think it was goofy to register her as "NCC-0514". A 0 at the beginning of a registry number kinda hits the eye wrong.

I at times wonder what if they decided to use this for the NX class instead of the Akiraprise.

That is a rather large crew capacity for a ship of this size. In the Original series the Enterprise and her sisters had crew compliments of a bit more than 400. I cannot recall the exact number, but I know it was close to that. The reboot in the recent movies tossed the numbers out and substituted their own.

If memory serves, the crew compliment of the Constitution class ships was 430.

Yes, I think you are right. In the episode "A Piece of the Action" Kirk told the mobster boss "Deah's 430 guys up deah!" or something to that effect. That was one of my favorite episodes because it showed how a culture could be contaminated by things left behind by visitors. It also proved the validity of the Prime Directive.

Great work, always found the Kelvin to be the best ship from the movie. Great job. :D

Ahh, Kirk's fathers ship. Very nice :)

Funny thou to see the secondary hull above the saucer rather then below it, but then again, when Star Trek was first conceived, it was originally ment to be the other way around for the Enterprise, with the Warp Nacelle's at the bottom and the secondary hull at the top, but they seemed to show it the other way around instead as we recognize the Enterprise.

Same thing happened to the USS Reliant NCC-2864 when 'Wrath of Khan' was in production. The Warp Nacelles was ment to be above the saucer, while the weapons roll bar at the top just behind the bridge was ment to be below the saucer section. I learned this from issue 11 of 'Star Trek - The Official Starships Collection' magazine.

i always thought the Reliant would have looked a lot nicer the other way up, shame
