So I cannot believe this is happening, but one of my fanfiction projects is actually being added into an Empire at War mod. I was contacted by a modder who read my very first Star Wars fanfiction, Hades Wing, and they informed me that they've been working on recreating my cast of ships and characters from Hades Wing in Empire at War. So far they've got Hades Wing's custom TIE bomber design, the TIE/db which they are finishing the modeling of for in game implementation. They wanted to get my permission to included the rest of Hades Wing as minor heroes, with the various squadrons of the wing becoming minor hero units in the game as well as a hero cruiser to represent their command ship. Honestly this is incredible. Out of all my Star Wars stories, this oldest of them, with all its clunky flaws and writing faux pas, is apparently the one to inspire a modder to recreate its cast in one of the most beloved Star Wars games ever. Warning klaxons were blaring in the cockpit as Flight Officer Maris Arden struggled to control her crumpling TIE Fighter. She wasn't sure how badly she was hit, but it was bad enough that she could barely keep the craft on a straight line and as the black volcanic ground of Sullust spun around her cockpit. She was too low to eject, and if she didn't time it correctly she'd basically be firing herself like a missile into the ground. She had to right her craft and at least try some semblance of a landing. She was just thankful to whatever the galaxy pleased that the Rebel starfighter hadn't tried to finish her off. Trying to land in the desolated landscape was hard enough as it was. Gritting her teeth, she fought with her foot pedals, trying to wrest control of her craft from gravity once again and at least come down without her hatch being blocked. It all happened so quickly. Her screen flashed, warning her of structural failure on her port support spar and she felt the TIE jerk

Happy New Year to all of my followers and those just dropping by for a stale mince pie! Healthwise, I've had minor improvements with minor setbacks, the outcome of which still leaves me unable to create new art right now sadly. I have a small reserve of art left in my HDD which will take us in to 2024 and I will continue to work on putting out information and downloads for Star Wars models. I've also had several requests to do something similar for Star Trek. There is an equally large range of free Trek models out there, but at the moment I'm not sure I have the health to manage that as well. We'll see... In the meantime, thank you to everybody who has supported my recovery. It is greatly appreciated believe me. :)
